WalMart cut 14,000 jobs in '09

Some employers are continuing to cut jobs. Wal-Mart Stores Inc. said Wednesday that it will eliminate 300 administrative jobs at its headquarters. The company has cut almost 14,000 jobs in the past 13 months, including 11,200 positions at its Sam's Club stores.

CBS rejects 2 male football fans making out

CBS has rejected a Super Bowl ad submitted by a gay dating Web site that shows two male football fans making out. The network shot down the commercial Friday in a letter to the site -- ManCrunch.com -- saying the "creative is not within the Network's Broadcast Standards for Super Bowl Sunday."

CBS rejects Super Bowl Go to Hell ad

CBS has rejected another Super Bowl ad, this time for telling viewers to "Go to Hell." The trailer for the epic Electronic Arts' game "Dante's Inferno" contains plenty of scenes of a warrior fighting beasts in the netherworld. But it was the game's widely used marketing tagline that had CBS seeing red.

Don't trust Google's Gmail

The most probable, and easiest way, would be for Chinese agents with physical access to Google servers to insert physical wiretaps. A modified version of a Cisco switch with an extra optic fiber leading off to the police would be easy to hide.
